On Monday the 13th of Match, the first session of a new project - Café Europe took place at CCA Glasgow. Café Europe is a series of sessions aiming to bring people together in a relaxed, casual atmosphere and discuss key issues concerning Europe in order to engage them more actively in current affairs. Café Europe is run in  partnership with the European Society UK (TES UK) and My Life My Say (MLMS)

Our event was co-hosted by Chiara Guidolin of ESN GCU, Daniel Lecoq of the Glasgow European Society and Theodora Varelidi Strati of ESN UofG. Mr. Mark Majewsky Anderson, head of GCU’s Europe Office, attended the session and gave a talk on Erasmus+ and the opportunities it offers to young people. This was followed by an engaging discussion on Brexit and the impact it will have on areas such as immigration, security and environment. The event went really well and we received good feedback from all attendees.
