Ceilidh = "pronounced 'kay-lay', it's pretty much a scottish folk dancing party where every one joins in in a kind of orchestrated dance and has muchos fun!" (Urban Dictionary, 2017)

Want to live the full SCOTTISH EXPERIENCE during your time abroad? Well, taking part to an authentic CEILIDH should be at the top of your Scottish bucket list! To honour Scotland's patron saint, Saint Andrew, Glasgow University, University of Strathclyde and Glasgow Caledonian University have once again teamed up to throw the wildest Ceilidh in Glasgow.

Practice your Scottish dance moves (don't worry if you are not a Royal Academy of Dance ballerina, after a glass or two we are all great at dancing) and join us for the most Scottish night of the year! And do not forget to get your tartan on!

The Ceilidh costs 3£ for ESN cardholders and 5£ for non cardholders.
